Hello,
IIM or Indian Institute of Management are premiere institutions and first choice of students to get their MBA degree. Candidates need to crack the CAT examination to be eligible for admission in IIM.
After the candidate clears the cutoff, he is shortlisted for further rounds and he has to clear them all to make into IIM. These rounds include Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion rounds (GD), and personal interview (PI).
Also there are other parameters for admission such as class X, XII score, marks in graduation, academic diversity and work experience.
So financial status of a candidate is not a parameter to get admission in IIM. Eand yes a middle class guy can get admission in IIM if he has caliber and potential to finely perform in the above mentioned exam and selection process .
