See NITs are allotted through JOSAA and CSAB counselling on the basis of JEE-Main score and the PwD candidates those who appear for JEE-Main can take part in counselling and in JOSAA counselling PwD candidates get their seat in any NIT on the basis of their JEE-Main rank under PWD i.e. PwD rank.
So it is not mandatory that each PwD candidate whoever appears in JEE-Main would get seat in NIT although reservation is there of 5% and that too horizontally with other categories.
Seats are only allotted on the basis of rank of candidate.
