Hello shubham,
No these marks will not be taken into account.
But if you give other exams like cat then it will be counted.
First of all, if you think that you want to be an IAS then I will suggest you to go for Bachelor In Arts.
You can take majors Political science or sociology.
This subjects help one to crack any government exams like UPSC, SSC CGL and State Public Comission Exams and RRB too.
This subjects are very informative and easy to understand.
I will say if you belong from Arts background then please go for it but if you are from other background like Science, I will suggest that think twice or thrice or hundred times before changing streams.
UPSCs syllabus is unrecognizable and it changes with time.
Cheers !!
Dear Shubham,
For competitive exams like SSC and UPSC (I am presuming that you are talking about appearing in the civil services exam), your class XII marks will not be taken into account.
No class 12 marks don't matter for SSC and UPSC. The eligibility for civil services is that you should hold a Bachelor's degree from any recognised institution in respective subjects.
