Does engineering becomes necessary for government firms???

No there are many government services in which you are from engineering background is not necessary.
For eg: Many UPSC exam,SSC exam, Railway exam,RRB ,etc are exam where any graduate can fill the form and get into government services
Yes there are some services which are for only engineering background student.
There is no necessity for choosing Engineering field, without interest.

No engineering is not at all compulsory to get jobs in the government sector. There are ofcourse many options for engineering background students in the govt job sector as a whole but that doesn't mean that only engineering students can opt for government jobs.

If you are from non- engineering background there are many jobs for you as well. You can apply for various managerial and administrative posts. You can also apply for different banking exams. You can also be a part of research and development part in an organization and many more.

All in all there are many govt jobs for non-engineering students too but you need to be updated for all the new job openings. You can read employment newspaper and visit all the govt official websites to stay updated on new job openings.

No engineering isn't necessary there are many jobs and requirement in a firm apart from engineering sector. So if you want to do a government job you can do it without doing engineering For eg, you can apply for bank SSC jobs aftyee graduation or you can go into teaching line. There are plenty of options available.
