Hello,
In general Category a, there's a subcategory(which is called EWS) for individuals with an annual family income of less than 8 lakhs belonging to the General Category but do not belong to any category such as SC / ST / OBC / MBC (Tamil Nadu). A 10% EWS quota for general category candidates has been implemented by the government.
