Does EWS quota not applied for Bihar medical Counselling as per the new prospectus released by it?

Dear Sejal, EWS Reservation is applicable across India. There is no exception to it. But you had to change your Category to EWS during the correction window which opened in the last week of May. But  if you havent changed it during the correction window, unfortunately you cannot claim it during the counselling. This is because the final merit list has been prepared according to the various Categories candidates have chosen while filling the application form and during the correction window. Now they are reflected in the ranks alloted to you and you are called for counselling based on those ranks. Now it is impossible to go back and alter the Categories just during the counselling process.
