Yes, Galgotias University provides internship opportunities to students across different programmes. The university's Career Planning & Development Division includes faculty-monitored corporate internship programmes along with industry visits, mentorship, field research and corporate interactions.
For students from Computer Science and Engineering, there are opportunities to gain practical exposure through internships, projects and industry-oriented activities. Galgotias University also maintains records of field projects, research projects and internships for its CSE department.
The university has also developed industry collaborations that include internship-related opportunities. Its placement and corporate-partnership information lists organisations such as Celebal Technologies, Aaj Enterprises and Posterity Consulting among partners involved in training, placement, internship or research collaborations.
Students can also find opportunities through internship and placement drives conducted on campus. For example, Galgotias Polytechnic conducted a Placement & Internship Drive in June 2026 where recruiters participated and students were given opportunities across IT, electronics, automobile and other sectors.
For a CSE student, I would suggest starting internship preparation from the second year itself. Learning programming, DSA, web development, databases, AI/ML or other relevant technologies and building projects can make it easier to apply for internships.
One important thing is that the university providing internship opportunities does not mean every student will automatically get an internship. Selection depends on the company, eligibility criteria, skills, resume and interview performance.
So overall, yes, Galgotias University does provide internship opportunities , and students can explore corporate internships, summer internships, research projects and industry-oriented programmes during their degree. Making active use of these opportunities can help build practical experience before the final placement year.
