The scope of Game Development is not too much in India in comparision to others countries where Game Development process is very high budget project. But Software programming has a huge scope in India so after completing BE in Computer science I would suggest you to start with programming.The choice of language hardly matters, when you learn programming you will be easily able to switch from one to another a per your interest.
