Does geting less marks in BE below 60% can get admission in any IIT,NIT?
Hii
For doing MTech from any IITs or NITs , they need to have at least 60% marks in BE or have 6.0 CGPA out of 10.
If you don't have it then you have very low chances for admission in MTech in any good colleges. You may have to go for other private or state government colleges.
Hope it helps
Hello,
As per your requirement i would say that as you have got beloe 60%in be and you want to get admission in iit, nit so which is sort of quite diffcult. 60% marks is really consider below avg as compared to the cut off.
Eligibility criteria for jee is-
For general category candidates – minimum 75% marks in aggregate.
For SC/ST/PWD candidates – 65% marks in aggregate.
Getting a seat in college is depending on many factors like studenrs to seat ratio, cut off, reservation, ranking of college, etc
Cut off varies evert year as per your reservation category and no. Of students applying for the same.
Good luck
