Hi! CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) released the fee structure for BTech programmes offered by various IIITs (Indian Institute of Information Technology) a while back in March. You will be pleased to know that Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are exempted from paying tuition fees in many of the institutes, while others offer some sort of concession. For eg.,

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management Gwalior

Gen/OBC

Hosteller – 77,500 (per semester)

Day scholar – 57,000 (per semester)

SC/ST

Hosteller – 37,500 (per semester)

Day scholar – 17,000 (per semester)

Hey aspirant,

The total fees of IIITs includes institute fees, hostel and mess fees,caution money and one time deposits that are refundable by the end of the programmes.

Those candidates who belong to reserved categories like SC/ST are exempted from paying the tuition fees but they have to pay all other fees.

The fees vary from one IIIT to other.
