Does it give any advantage to book the earliest date in the exam slot ?

Yes, it's always good to book a slot early. If you book the exam slot as per your preference early, then your chances of getting the same slot, exam centre on that day become certain. This facility is on first come first serve, so if you book your test slot late, then many of the test centres for a particular time or day may be full/completely occupied by that time. This means that you will have only limited number of test centres and slot timings left if book a slot late. You may not get the slot/test centre which you may want if you do it late whereas you can ascertain it by booking it early.
