A domicile certificate, also knows as a residence certificate, is an official document that can be used to prove that a person is a resident of a particular State/Union Territory. It is issued by the state or UT administration which is commonly in the DC office or SDM office. These are the documents required:

Identity proof like aadhar card, voter id card etc - Residence proof of 3-6 years (may be more in some areas) like water bill, electricity bill, rent agreement
- Passport size photographs
- Self declaration form and application form
