Does respiratory therapist earns more than nurses in abroad. Give me a genuine answer

Hi,
As compared to India, nursing is a very well respected and admired job in western countries. They are paid well and their job prospects are highly appreciated. Respiratory therapists are very few in requirements and also very specific domain of job that isn't that much in demand and so paid less when compared to nursing.
