For admission in IIT you have to clear advance which will give only 2 chances for two consecutive years unlike MAINS which gives 3 chances
If you drop 2 year(means you will attempt 3 times mains paper) then you were no longer applicable for JEE Advance , you have to satisfy with JEE MAINS

i didn t clear jee main 1st attempt.Now I m taking jee main(2017) 2nd time.Then it is possible to grop 2 years

JEE Advance gives you chance for 2 consecutive years which includes your 12 pass year & next year. ..Even if you don't qualify JEE main in 1 attempt your 1 chance of JEE Advance will be consumed....Thanks. .
