ece engg or e tele comm engg which is better

Well, preferring ECE is better than tele comm engineering as Telecommunication engineering is based on the theory and design of the hardware systems where as ECE students work on electronic devices and systems . But Telecommunication engineering is mainly the study of  satellite,optical,wired data etc in this industry whereas in ECE you will learn construction of digital and analog circuits.The electronics engineers should have the background of Tele comm field .However the salary in both the streams is almost the same although the tele comm positions are slightly high .If you pursue B.Tech in ECE you may also go into the field of software where youget good oppurtunities.

But it is still based on your decision and your stream of interest but according to me both are almost same but ECE is better than Tele comm engineering.

Electronics and Communication Engineering(ECE) and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering(ETE) are two different branches of Engineering very much similar to each other.

ECE is combination of Electrical and Computer Science Engineering while ETE is combination of Electrical, Civil as well as structural Engineering.

Now, if we talk of better one, then both are better but ECE is more preferred by students as it is a combination of software and hardware and the options after taking this degree as the student can go into technical as well as non-technical fields.
