For MBA they ask mostly the aptitiude questions which consists of general maths and mental ability. Some of the class 12th topics such as Matrices and Complex numbers may come in 2-3 questions.
Talking specifically about CAT and XAT then there is no need to go through the entire class 12th syllabus.
