Dear Student,
There is not any national level exam to take admission in 11th class. You just need to walk the school campus, know everything about the school and directly apply there, and after a few days they might take short exam to test yourself.
In most of the Schools your admission done on the basis of the marks/percentage you got in your 10th board and according to that they will provide you the stream.
