Hey aspirant

An Economically Weaker Section certificate is valid for the current financial year in which it was generated . As you have mentioned that the certificate is dated January 2020, this means it was valid for financial year 2019-20, i.e. till March 31,2020. So you'll need to renew the certificate for usage in 2020-21.
