EWS is Economically Weaker Section. It is one of the mode of providing reservation who absolutely belong to General category and are having annual family income less than 8 lakh. Besides there are also other parameters.
For claiming reservation you need to produce the concerned certificate. If you belong to EWS Category and are not able to produce your certificate then your result would not be cancelled or rejected. Rather your reservation is liable to be cancelled. Henceforth, you would not be allocated seat based on reservation and would be treated as a general category candidates. The seat allocation for you, in that case, will be done on Common Rank list (CRL) rank.
