Hi Tanya,
To become a ITO you have first enter the IT department as Income Tax Inspector or Tax Assistant. Then after qualifying the departmental examination you can earn promotion as ITO. To become an Inspector or Tax assistant you will have to qualify a written examination. Exams like SSC graduate you can become INCOME TAX INSPECTOR, after that by giving other department exam you can become ITO.
