B.Des. stands for Bachelor of Design. These academic programs deals with design and its allied areas. As we all know, designing is a vast domain. It consists of many sub-branches. Due to this fact, there exists different types of B.Des. programs, which focus on a particular sub-branch or discipline.

B.Des. Textile Design is one such program! This program deals with the sub-branch known as Textile Design and its allied areas. A textile designer is capable of crafting beautifully crafted clothing items (clothing, carpets, drapes, towels, rugs, decorative etc) from the raw material. Here are some of the tasks performed by a textile designer –

Fees charged for the academic program may vary from one institute to another. Course fees depends upon the following factors –

Government colleges are known to charge low fees. Average fees in private colleges could be anywhere between 90-150K INR per semester.
