Im a graduate in 2018 not writing GATE this year..Can I attend for GATE in 2019 and then apply for IIST?Will they take 2018 batch in 2020?

There will be no issue, you can rectify the mistake soon. Also, as per your description you already have informed them for the same through mail so all candidates who have requested for such changes will be informed by email/ SMS once this option has been enabled.
