For choosing Btech after 12th PCM not having computer as a subject can affect a person in any bad way?? How can one overcome when not knowing much about computer subject and computer itself too??
In a way no, you can always learn things. It isn't a major subject if you take up B.tech but you should know how to work on a computer. You may have to give a technical presentation as a part of curriculum in that case you need to know how to prepare a presentation in a computer. Not only a presentation you need to do projects in your pre-final year and in final year part of it has to be done on computer. If you start learning the basic operations of computer you will be okay. You should build up computer operating skills. It isn't mandatory to study computer subject in 10+2.
If you take Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology most of the work is done on computer, you will learn programming languages, codes, algorithms etc.You don't have to worry, you will learn eventually.
Hi Keshav,
If you want to pursue B.Tech. after intermediate than you can go with it it does not matter that whether you have taken computer as a subject or not.
In B.Tech. there are different streams which you can pursue because basic skills of computer are known to everyone. Even you can go for Computer Science stream in B.Tech without having much knowledge of computer.
During B.Tech. you can do some short term certified courses to develop your computer skills.
I hope this answer helps you.
Good Luck!!
