To be eligible to get admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with atleast 75% aggregate for general category candidates, for SC/ST it is 45% from a recognised board or university.
So, it includes overall percentage which means including practicals and theory you must have 75% altogether if you belong to general category.
