Dear Aspirant,

For this year, the admission into NITs can be done without the minimum requirement of the top 20 percentile or 75% in +2. If you have passed all the subjects in your +2 and have obtained a rank eligible for a particular NIT, then you can get admission in that NIT.

Generally however, there is a minimum marks requirement of to be in top 20 percentile in your respective boards. In case of CBSE, it is 75% overall marks.
