Dear aspirant,
For NITs total 7 round counseling takes place. Whereas for Maximum number of times its cutoff remains same from 5th or 6th round to 7th one. Hope you have understood.

Dear student,
Usually it may take even upto 7 rounds,it depends on the number of vacancies against number of seats occupied.This time to restrict any further delay of commencement of classes the rounds may be lessened to 6 .
