For UG Production Engineering after Class 12, some of the best options in India include:

IIT Delhi
NIT Tiruchirappalli
NIT Calicut
Jadavpur University
Government College of Engineering, Pune (COEP Technological University)

Admission depends on the institute and the entrance exam, mainly JEE Advanced, JEE Main, or state-level counselling.

My suggestion: Choose a college based not only on the Production Engineering branch but also on its overall reputation, placements, faculty and industry exposure.
