JEE Main Score is required for Admission to NITs, IIITs and GFTIs for B.E/B.Tech/Integrated MSc. Course. Many State Engineering Colleges, Private Institutes and Universities nowadays also do accept the JEE Main Score. Even B.Arch aspiring Students need to Appear for the JEE Main Paper 2, besides mandatorily qualifying Paper 1 and hence taking admission in some of the Best Architecture Schools.
As far as JEE Advanced Score is Concerned, it is used by IITs for admitting students to its Flagship B.Tech/Dual Degree/BS/Integrated M.Sc and B.Arch Courses. However for B.Arch, students need to appear for an additional Architecture Aptitude Test AAT. Many Other Technical Institutes like IIST Trivandrum, IIPE Vishakapatnam, RGIPT as well as IISERs do accept JEE Advanced Rank for Admission Purposes.
