For which group job placements are high from mech or IT ?

If we compare the placement scenarios of both mechanical department and information technology then usually find that the placements in IT Department is much more better than that in mechanical department.
Not only higher number of of placed students in information technology department but higher package is another factor which makes it better for placement. And if you take a look to the present condition in engineering colleges then you will surely find that the placements in core branches like mechanical, production and electrical departments are less when compared to the other departments like computer science, information technology and ECE department.
I am not saying that mechanical department lacks but it's just that when both are compared for placements always IT Department will have an upper hand.

ReplyAlthough the college provides best placement opportunities in CSE, IT and ECE departments but the training cell is quite good in mechanical department and you can expect placement opportunities from mechanical department as well.
