Hello Naveen,

Well the criteria for CSAB counselling is that one should be JEE Main qualified and should have a valid rank. Below I have mentioned the 2019 JEE Main cutoff category wise -

CRL : 89.75
GEN-EWS : 78.21
OBC-NCL : 74.31
SC : 54.01
ST : 44.33
PwD : 0.11

Now if you have cleared the cutoff then you are JEE Main qualified and hence is eligible for CSAB counselling. But with your rank of 55000, it may be a little hard for you to get a good seat. Better attend the counselling process and see which colleges are you getting. Through CSAB you can get a seat in NITs,IIITs,GFTIs,SFTIs. CSAB counselling will start after the end of JoSAA counselling process.
