Hi Om,
Indian Government introduced the propsal for CET on March 14, 2018. As it is propsed by Rajya Sabha for February 2019, it is not canceled.

No,not yet. CET for Engineering is there or not that decision is pending. ... As of now, there has been no news of CET being cancelled. It is likely to be conducted in 2018.
