function of uric acid .and also structured
Hi Student,
Uric acid is a waste product created during the normal breakdown of purines, naturally occurring substances found in foods and drinks. Foods with high content of purines include liver, anchovies, mackerel, dried beans and peas, and beer. The chemical formula for Uric acid is C5H4N4O3.
It is a useful diagnostic tool as screening for most of purine metabolic disorders. It functions as an antioxidant and possibly one of the most important antioxidants in plasma.
Hope you understand.
