Gate 2027 syllabus for Heat transfer subject

The official GATE 2027 syllabus has not been released yet. However, the Heat Transfer syllabus is expected to remain similar to previous years. It generally includes:

• Modes of heat transfer (conduction, convection, radiation)
• One-dimensional steady and unsteady heat conduction
• Thermal resistance and electrical analogy
• Heat transfer through fins
• Free and forced convection
• Dimensionless numbers (Reynolds, Nusselt, Prandtl)
• Radiation heat transfer
• Heat exchangers (LMTD and NTU methods)

The official GATE 2027 syllabus will be released on the GATE website closer to the notification date.
