Benefits of gate exam:-
- The Candidates get paid every month to study in IITs , NITs, and various institute
- Chances of getting a decent job in Core company increases once you have decent GATE score
- A masters degree from a good college increases candidate’ chances of being selected for Ph.D. at an even better college, in India or abroad.
- If Candidate has a valid gate score, he/she don't have to appear in the written/aptitude test and he/she are directly called for interview.
- A Higher degree than most engineers (who prefer not to go for masters) implies a few extra jobs for which a Candidate with valid GATE score is eligible, but they are not.
- MHRD scholarship of 12,400 per month for 24 months if the Candidate goes for the master’s degree with his/her GATE Score.
- Adding 'GATE Qualified' with the score in the candidate’ resume, enhances it and can benefit him/her in getting jobs in other MNCs.
- If a candidate wants to go into research, he/she can apply in CSIR Institutes as a junior research fellow. On completion, he/she will be called a scientist.
