Banking exam is all about speed and precision.
To follow the first step, you need to practice lots of mock paper, analyze as well as evaluate your strength and weak points, and work on these accordingly.
Read newspaper daily, such as The Hindu, The Indian Express, The Economic Times, for English section specifically focus on Editorial Section, also be updated with banking/finance news, this matters the most in Banking Exams.

You may consider going through the following books-

For Quants- Quicker Maths by M Tyra, there's one book by Arihant Publications as well named Fast Track Arithmetic, for higher level there's book by Sarvesh Sharma named Quantum Cat, in the similar section is also a book by Arun Sharma.

For English- General English by SP Bakshi
