Giving improvement exam a good choice for humanities student?

Actually it is quietly depend upon you. If you are not satisfied with your previous exam marks, then my advice is that you should go for an improvement examination, and all universities except improvement examination marks as well. Where are you belongs to humanity student or not. Hope this will help you
