I won't suggest sorting MBA colleges just on the basis of the fee. However, I assume that you're targeting MBA with best ROI and not just to get a degree. If you wish to do an MBA just for the sake of degree then you can do distance learning course either from IGNOU or from Sikkim Manipal Distance Learning course. Both the courses are affiliated to UGC distance board.

Now coming back to the question, the institutes with best ROI are as follows:

• Department of Financial Studies (DFS), DU
• Delhi School of Economics, DU
• Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai
• KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai
• Institute of Management Studies and Research, Vivekananda Education Society, Mumbai

Do visit the individual official website of every college to get information in the cutoff, fees, cutoffs etc. Fees might be on the higher side for a few colleges but the quality of education you'll be getting will compensate the same.

One of the best colleges in the Country for the fees range of 50-60k is FMS, Delhi . Faculty of Management Studies is a B-school of Delhi University with the highest ROI(Return On Investment) i.e, its fees to package ratio is too high. The Average package of FMS-MBA student is 23.20 lacs p.a. as compared to its fees of Rs $47,780 p.a.

To get into FMS, one must clear CAT(common aptitude examination) exam, conducted by IIMs in the last week of November. CAT is an aptitude exam divided into three sections of Verbal Ability(ENGLISH), LRDI(Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation) and Quantitative Aptitude(Mathematics) with 100 questions divided into these three sections as 32, 32 and 34. Each question carries equal marks i.e. 3 and -1 for wrong answers.

To get into FMS, one must secure at least 99.5 percentile in CAT, i.e. approx 180 marks in CAT out of 300, along with all sectional cutoff cleared. Results are declared in the first week of January.
