Hello,
I see you are beginner and i believe you definitely need coaching and guidance.If you want to become an IAS you will have to crack UPSC.It is considered as one of the most tuffest exams in India.You will have to cover all so many subjects and things around world and lot more.So i would say you should take a coaching and that will help a lot.
