Firstly, congrats on getting 5500 rank in JEE Mains.
According to NTA, from this year onwards 10% of the total seats have been registered from the Economically Backward Section (EWS) category. Since this is being implemented for the 1st time, it's not possible to estimate what the cutoff will be in the counselling process.
Since you are a female candidate, you have higher chances in getting selected but nothing can be said for sure.
And I hope you will be able to get into VNIT Nagpur as per your wish.
