Guwhati iit CSE is good or Madras iit electrical is good?

Regarding CSE and EE, bith are pretty different branches, I would suggest you to go through the academia you'll study in both these branches, so that you can undeerstand where your actual interest lies. Remember that, you will study this for entire 4 years.

Campus life IIT G > IIT M
Cultural differences IIT G > IIT M
College Fest IIT G > IIT M
Placements IIT M > IIT G
Academic Pressure IIT M > IIT G
I beleive, both collegs are pretty good but I would recommend you to prefer IIT M oveer IIT G

Hello candidate.Both the IITs are good.As both the colleges are IIT any branch is better.It depends on your interest to choose which branch is best.As both are IITs either computer science engineering (cse) or electrical engineering is good. The placements are good and also faculty are well experienced.Now it depends on your interest to choose which one is best.
If it had been comparison between iit's and and any other college i would have answered clearly to go for iit even the subjects you are talking about is entirely different, BUT with both the iit's you are talking about you can go for anyone with branches mentioned above depending upon your interests. both are old iit's , both are topmost iit's , both have execellent placement records, your decision should be made solelely on the basis of where your interest lie as both the branches in both the colleges are equally good, if you are interested in cse which has extensive opportunities in todays world go for it in iit guwahati, if in electrical go for madras it has good placements exposure too, if you want to decide on the basis of salary package only go for cse.
