Hello, Can the Nios ID Card Validation be extended from 5 years of the old admission date or candidate have to take re-admission?

NIOS admission card validity is 5 years from the date of admission confirmation. If candidate does not pass all the exams within 5 years, then, he/she will have to apply for re-admission.
