As per my knowledge the scholarship is offered in all the programmes in order to provide financial benefit to bright and deserving students. During the last year, LPU has granted scholarships worth INR 100+ crores to students (maximum up-to 4.9 lacs per student) to pursue their education. Following are few criteria for grant of scholarship.

LPUNEST cut off decides on number of students participated in exam,number of seats available in particular course you applied for and highest score avail by student in particular course you are seeking admission into.

In maximum courses minimum 30-40% cut off required to qualify LPUNEST exam.Rest it depends on course or programme you are choosing.To get 40% or maximum scholarship you need to prepare well.

Note-Scholarship at LPU reduces with each passing phase so your date of admission alos matters.

• The first and foremost category is that a student can avail the scholarship on the basis of his/her previous qualification or previous to previous qualification which should be minimum of 70 percentage. For instance if a student is applying for a Bachelor’s degree, LPU will be considering the 12 ^th marks or 10 ^th marks whichever will be higher.
• LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test (LPUNEST) on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship.
• Some national level tests like JEE mains, NATA, NEET, UCEED, CAT, XAT, MAT , CMAT, NMAT, GPAT, GATE etc.
• Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities.
• Board Toppers
• For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities
• Defence personnels and central armed police forces(CAPF) dependents

From all the above mentioned whichever is higher that will be applicable.

Coming to score required for highest slabs, it depends on how many number of students appear, what is the collective result and seats remaining in the program. So, please apply for LPUNEST before August 27, 2020 and take your admission before August 31st, to avail; these scholarships.

After 31-08-2020 the scholarships are likely to be reduced or may even be phased out.

Hello, the amount of scholarship only be determined on the basis of various factors i.e.the time of admission, in which phase the candidate has appeared the lpunest, etc.. there are 3 brackets (bracket 1,2 and 3) , The criteria in each bracket decreases as it proceeds and so does the scholarships. So, the students meeting the requirement of Bracket- 1 gets the highest Scholarship and those in Bracket - 2 or 3 gets relatively lesser scholarship.

Also note,The amount of Scholarship also depends on the Phase in which the candidate takes Admission.
