To be eligible for appearing in CLAt you need to have completed class 12 or must be in class 12 and meet the eligibilty criteria at the time of admission.
Hi Pallavi Sharma,
It feels good when a students like you have so much confidence in themselves to appear in CLAT even when in Class 11. But let me tell you that this dream of yours won't be fulfilled till the time you clear 12th. As per the eligibility criteria of CLAT, candidates applying for BA LLB programme need to qualify 12th board examination under 10+2 school system. But the story does not end here, you need to score at least 45 per cent marks in aggregate of the subjects appeared in the 12th board examination. And the good thing is there is no age bar to appear in CLAT. I hope that this information motivates you to prepare for you 12th board well so that you meet the eligibility criteria to appear in CLAT. All the best!
