Hello, I am Manasa currently pursuing my Btech and fond of research. I thought of doing research in cybersecurity but I couldn't get what should I prove and how? Could anyone guide me in this regard?

see cyber security is a emerging technology in computer science field and in future it would be quite demanding, it has wide application in banking systems, online transaction technology,  defending computers, servers, mobile devices, electronic systems, networks, and data from malicious attacks. however in graduate level you may do some additional courses from different online portal to gain a vast knowledge on cyber security. however there is less of research opportunity in b.tech. however I would suggest you to do master of technology course in cse domain or in specialization in cyber security. In b.tech final year project you may do projects on cyber security beginners level.

It's great to know you are venturing into research. Kindly take anyone topic of cyber security & take a topic which isn't discussed by many in the field of cyber security. You need to get in the community of cyber security & be more aware of the happenings around the field. The better you are versed with the field experts & what they are looking for, you can knowingly choose other subtopics in the domain & research. Research for something which hasn't been talked about enough. Choose different subtopics within the domain so that it becomes unique to your research. Explore the field wholly before you make a detailed research plan for the same. Also try & conversate with international students & ask them what they are researching on in the field of cyber security.
