Make your EWS certificate
after 1 April 2025
so it matches the financial year 2025–26.
Most states take
7–21 days
to issue it.
While filling the
JEE Main 2026
form, you should select
EWS
if you belong to the EWS category.
You only need the actual certificate later during JEE Advanced and JoSAA counselling.
