Hello Mam/Sir I have a doubt and my doubt is, why some of the elements in period table contains Atomic mass in Fraction ?
Hi Dear,
The periodic table is a tabular arrangement of all the chemical elements on the basis of their respective atomic numbers. The atomic mass is the mass of an atom. Generally, the atoms have integral value as their atomic mass. However, the atomic masses of most elements in periodic table are fractional because it is an average of the various isotopes of an element.
Hope this helps.. Good Luck
