hello!!! may i know the cut off marks for neet exams that is for general category.
Dear Gowrika, for being eligible for NEET, you need to pass in all your subjects in 10+2 and score a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you are enquiring about the cut off for getting a seat in MBBS, then cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. The cut offs will decrease if the no.of seats available are increased. In 2019, the general cut offs increased by 15 marks. But since 2019, The Ministry of Health decided to start 75 new Medical Colleges. That will increase the availability of the seats. Now every year on an average 12-13 lakh students appear for NEET. Going by this, in general, the cut offs might be more or less at the same as last year. This is just an assumption. Now the cut off criteria for General Category is 50 percentile of top NEET score and it is 40 percentile for OBC,SC,ST. Now lets look at 2019 cut offs:
General Category: 13-701
OBC,SC,ST: 120-134
