Please be informed that to be able to join pilot training, there are some academic as well as some physical constraints to it if the candidates want to pursue a career as a commercial pilot. Now to answer your question, the minimum academic constraints are that the candidate needs to have completed their class XII from a recognized board with English as a compulsory subject and also that the candidate needs to have a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate and also in Physics and Mathematics individually.

The physical constraints include that the candidate needs to have a class I medical certificate done and certified by one of the doctors of the mentioned panel of doctors on the website of the DGCA of India.

The average fee structure ranges from 40 lakh rupees to about 80 lakh rupees. There are even pilot cadet programs offered by airlines such as IndiGo and Spicejet.

For becoming pilot after 10th -
10th standard students usually have two options:

Wait for 2 years and complete 10+2 science schooling (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) from a regular school
Enroll for 10+2 science stream course at Open School like NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling)
There are many flying schools that also help candidates get through 10+2 schooling through NIOS. So, you may directly approach such schools after 10th and put forward your application to complete 12th through this mode of schooling. However, a candidate may also have to clear further selection stages like  Medical tests, Pilot Aptitude test, etc. in addition to meeting this schooling requirement!

How to Become a Pilot? About fees-
If you want to become a pilot in India without paying the heavy amount of fees to the training institutes, then here is how you can proceed. You need to clear the NDA (National Defence Service) exam held by the Indian Airforce. If you clear the NDA exam and physical test, the training will be free and after your training you will be paid Rs.50000 to Rs.60000 per month.

Eligibility

Candidate should be a citizen of India.
Candidate should complete the 12th standard from any recognized state board of India.
Age limit is between 16.5 to 19 years.
Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. Girls are not eligible for this exam.
Candidate should be physically and medically fit for this exam.
