The Basic eligibility to give CAT exam is one must have pased graduation from a recognised Board of University. The final year students are also eligible to give CAT exam. As you are in second year of your graduation course, you are not eligible to attempt the exam.

Eligibility for CAT is 10+2 with the Grade of minimum 50 to 55%.

See that you have scored minimum of 50 %.
If you are SC/ST then there is 5% relaxation for you which means you need to score 45% minimum to be eligible for CAT exam.

See that you have this eligibility criteria to get qualified in CAT exam.
