1) IIT Kharagpur, Geology

2) NIT Tiruchipalli, Instrumentation

3) IITDhanbad, Mining

4) NIT Delhi, ECE

5) IIT Varanasi, Ceramic

6) NIT Calicut, Electrical

Factually speaking, 6000-6500 is considered as a safe rank to get into IIT. But that 6000 also will not fetch a good branch in a good IIT. And EWS will be useful to fetch you a fee waiver but it will not be able to fetch you a seat. So unfortunately you might not be getting IIT seat but if you have a decent JEE Mains percentile, you should definitely try for NITs.
